XL BULLY DOGS

Following the Prime Minister's intervention, the UK Government has added XL Bully dogs to a list of dogs which are banned in England and Wales - we understand this is hugely concerning and upsetting for owners.

Our insurers have set certain conditions which mean that we are unable to accept America XL Bully dogs into day care.

However, they can be attend Exclusive Hire sessions provided the following conditions are met.

1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained - this is mandatory from 1st February 2024

2. You have public liability insurance for your dog and a copy is obtained

3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 so the dog must have their own handler

4. The dog is neutered

5. The dog is microchipped

6. The dog is kept on a lead and is muzzled until you are in the secured area and again the dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before coming out
